For Merge Mansion's 5th anniversary, I built the concept around a story: Maddie discovering her grandmother's old diary in the mansion attic. A five-year diary felt like a natural fit, both as a narrative device and as a product: the format is a beloved tradition in Japan, which inspired a physical collaboration with Midori to bring it to life. The work spanned the full concept and narrative setup, visual composition, emotional tone, and character dynamics, as well as a retro sticker-inspired anniversary logo that reinforced the nostalgic, collectible feel of the whole thing.
